How Do You Fit a Peloton Bike to A Car?
If you have a mid-size sedan for example and you need to get everything fit into the trunk. The few tools you need include; Phillips screwdriver, Allen keys, and an adjustable wrench.
- Remove the Velcro and unplug the screen first, then remove the screen using the wrench and Allen keys, and finally pull out the handlebars/screen mount altogether.
- After that, remove the Phillips screw and the plastic piece that is holding a metal spring/stop behind the horizontal seat adjustment, and then remove the seat.
- Next, remove the vertical seat bar, and then use the adjustable wrench to remove the pedals.
- Take the bottle holder/plastic shroud off the bike by removing the Phillips screws that keep it in place.
- Finally, put the Peloton on its side and remove the front and rear bases with the Allen keys.
These steps are quite straightforward. Just be sure to tuck the screens cables safely between the bike’s front fork so that it doesn’t get damaged. When assembling, simply follow the steps from the bottom up. To avoid losing the screws and small bits, you should put them in a zip lock bag.
